UV 140 - Heidenhain UV.140 power supply

The Heidenhain UV 140 45 is an inverter power supply unit from the UV-140 product family, forming part of Heidenhain's drive and supply module range. It provides centralised power supply for inverter systems and delivers the required DC bus voltage to connected power modules. With a rated power of 45 kW, an S6-40% power of 65 kW and a peak power of 80 kW (< 0.2 s), the module is designed for demanding drive tasks in CNC technology. The UV 140 45 is used in CNC machining centres and machine tools that rely on Heidenhain inverter systems. As a supply module, it forms the heart of the power distribution within modular drive systems and is designed for use together with compatible power modules (e.g. UM and UE modules). It is part of the Heidenhain drive architecture employed in numerous milling, turning and grinding machines from renowned manufacturers such as DMG and Deckel Maho. The module features a DC bus voltage of 650 V and an integrated low-voltage power supply of 200 W. Heat dissipation is handled internally, enabling compact and low-maintenance integration into the control cabinet. The module width is 200 mm.
