FANUC A06B-6050-H202 control retrofit

The Fanuc A06B-6050-H202 is a dual-channel AC velocity control unit (Dual VCU) from the first generation of the Fanuc AC drive series. The unit manages speed and position control for two AC servo motor axes and communicates with the higher-level CNC control system via an analog interface. This drive is primarily used in early CNC machine tools manufactured from 1988 onwards. It is designed for operation with two AC servo motors of models 0 or 0 and 2-0, and is typically controlled by analog CNC systems of the Fanuc Series 0 Model A. The unit is therefore well suited for use in classic machining centers, milling machines, and other CNC-controlled machine tools of that era. The A06B-6050-H202 is manufactured in Japan at the foot of Mount Fuji and features a robust design intended for continuous industrial use. The unit supports full closed-loop feedback operation and can be electronically tested on appropriate Fanuc CNC test benches. Thanks to its dual-channel architecture, the unit enables simultaneous control of two independent axes through a single drive unit.
